 Each
year the UA Womens Club awards five
$1,000 scholarships to ourstanding
seniors who live in Upper Arlington
and who plan to attend a four-year
college or university. The awards
are based on homanitarian acts and
compassion.
This
year, the UA Womens Club has reamed
these awards the Stefanie
Spielman Humanitarian Awards in
honor of Stefanie, one of our Club's
founding members. Stefanie passed
away in 2009, having served as a model
of humanitarianism and inspiring countless
others to show compassion, understanding,
and courage.
The
2010 awards were presented to five
recipients on Friday, May 14 from
8:30 - 10:00 am at Scioto Country
Club.
